Booking steps

Review the official requirements on GOV.UK before you book.

Choose your preferred official test centre and available date.

Prepare the ID document you will take to the appointment.

Pay the official £50 fee during the booking process.
- 5
Arrive early on test day and bring the exact ID used for booking.
Test day checklist
- ✓Valid passport, biometric residence permit, or travel document
- ✓Booking confirmation details
- ✓Time to arrive at least 30 minutes early
- ✓A recent practice score above the 75% pass mark
Official reminder
GOV.UK states the test fee is £50 and that if you fail, you must wait 7 days before taking the test again.
